Kanosh

Kanosh is an exit off the I15 somewhere in Southern Utah. Ian and I drove past it and there is seriously not anything around. Its beautiful though.

Temple Steps

It has been said, that of all the places in Jerusalem, these steps here were walked by Christ. I thought the scriptures were fitting considering the significance of a place such as this. I was able to walk where Jesus walked.

This is a shot from when we went to visit the Western Wall. Our guide was really sweet and full of interesting information about it.

In Petra, they have a really cool ancient aqueduct system that makes for a great photograph.

The colors are to die for.

Mosaic Tile Women

While we were in Jordan, we visited a shop where these gorgeous mosaic tile pieces were made. They would put the mosaics on the wall, on tables, on boxes, etc. It was actually really remarkable. The craziest thing, is that as you walk in, there are women making these mosaics right in front of you. They say it takes them sometimes up to four months to make one of them. They have these colored stones that they cut then glue. I asked the one of them if she liked doing it. She said yes, but it hurts her hands and her back because they do it all day everyday.

Mount of Beatitudes

We had the chance to read the Sermon on the Mount and look over the Sea of Galilee one night. We sat on the Mount of Beatitudes; it was a really neat moment for me. 

Petra

Petra is a beautiful place. The colors were absolutely fantastic. The light was breathtaking as well.

The people are interesting as well. Some of them still live in the caves of Petra.

Coolest Hotel in Petra

My mom and I got up early one morning to walk around our hotel and photograph. It was really neat because the light was beautiful and the hotel was so unique. These are just a few photographs ...
